Overview

This short, fun-filled children's book will take you through the adventures of a very tiny, but loving cat, named ""Pocket Cat,"" who lives with his best friend Charlie on a farm. More than anything, Pocket Cat wants to be friends with all the Barnyard animals. After repeated rejections of his offer of friendship by various barnyard animals because he is too small or doesn't look like them, Pocket Cat becomes a hero when a midnight barn fire erupts and threatens the lives of all the animals. Pocket Cat comes to the rescue showing that size and appearance don't really matter. Rather, it is what is in your heart that counts and Pocket Cat proves to everyone that he has a heart of gold! I have loved all animals for as long as I can remember. I wanted to write a book about animals and the importance of kindness towards them and people. I wanted this project to be an on going charitable venture that will be used to help animals, even after I am gone from this world.
