James Burks oeuvre depuis 15 ans dans l'industrie de l'animation et a collaboré à une multitude de films et de séries télévisées dont: Un empereur nouveau genre, Atlantis, l'empire perdu, La Planète au trésor, La Ferme de la prairie et Basket spatial. Il a également travaillé aux émissions télévisées Iron Giant, Wow Wow Wubbzy, Fan Boy et Chum Chum. Le premier roman illustré de la série, Plumo et Phobie: Sauve qui peut!, a été sélectionné par ABC Best Books for Children. James habite à Valencia, en Californie. James Burks has spent the last fifteen years working in the animation industry on various movies and television shows, including the Emperor's New Groove, Atlantis, Treasure Planet, Home on the Range, Space Jam, the Iron Giant shows, Wow Wow Wubbzy, and most recently on Fan Boy and Chum Chum.
