He received his B.S. degree in electrical and electronics engineering form Dokuz Eylul University, Izmir, Turkey, his M.S. degree in telecommunications from the University of Pittsburgh and his Ph.D. degree in computer engineering from North Carolina State University. Ali Tajer is an assistant professor of electrical, computer, and systems engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
