How do you approach emotional and sexual education with teenagers, without creating discomfort, while respecting African cultural values? In the face of controversy and taboos, one approach emerges with force: teaching through play. This book is the fruit of an investigation carried out in Benin, at the Collège Catholique Monseigneur Isidore de Souza (CCMIS) in Ouidah. There, the author studied the impact of playful methods (role-playing games, quizzes, anonymous question boxes) on 5th grade students taking the Affective Education course. Far from being mere entertainment, play is revealed here as a powerful pedagogical tool that transforms the classroom.
