Overview

This book will guide you through some of the basics in learning art. It will provide step by step instructions on how to better your drawings. Playful Palette wants you to be able to learn the tools needed in order to draw confidently on your own and be proud of the artwork you do.​ Some lessons may seem easy, but they are there to help you practice skills that you can immediately use in your own work. Other lessons may seem a little more difficult, but the instructions will hopefully help you through it all. Each Playful Palette lesson consists of a variety of instructions, exercises, projects, and Art History lessons that will give you the tools to build up your artistic talents. We start off with simple exercises and build up from what we've learned. ​ ​You'll find these in each lesson​ Introduction to the art lesson ​ Several exercises that go over the topic of each lesson​ Two projects that go over the skills learned in the exercises​ Step by Step instructions for each Project​ An Art History Lesson that goes over information learned ​ Short game or questions about what was learned in the lesson​
