Reviews

As a lifelong Scrabbler, I found this guide indispensable. I couldn't believe my eyes at the obvious mistakes I;'ve been making. It completely changed my outlook on the game, and I hope I can retain the knowledge. A thoroughly engrossing read. John Hargreaves, Bristol Thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and, as a beginner, gave me good insight into how the game is played on a serious level. Janet Jones, Cardiff For anyone serious about playing Scrabble better, this book will help you achieve more. Noel Armstrong-Wade, Barrow-in-Furness A handy book that can only help your knowledge of the English Language. Donn Jones, Tamworth I read this book, initially, because I was interested in learning how to beat my husband! Apart from reading the rules enclosed with the game of Scrabble I would class myself as very much a beginner, although I have played for a number of years. However, on reading through the book I found it to be extremely interesting and well written. The writing is quite humorous at times but it is not a chore to follow! I certainly could not wait to play the game and put the stratagems and anagrams to good use! I think that anyone could benefit from reading this great book. Gillian Wyness, Brechin A very easy read, perfect gift for your Scrabble friends. RB Lambourne, Fochabers
