Overview
'Plants Help Us Grow' is a children's book that hopefully will make children understand that we need plants but they also need us. Our children are the future and it is important they understand that from an early age. Through poetry and pictures this book is a fun way to see how a tree grows but the responsibility also makes the child grow in other ways too. Hopefully everyone who reads it, no matter their age, finds some inspiration to plant something themselves. We'll all benefit from that..

I've been a northern suburbs boy from Adelaide all my life and I'm proud of it. After 14 years working on the production line I've been forced to take a breather. I am making the most of this by doing some things I've always wanted to do but never had the time for. Matt is the 14 year old son of the writer Shane Richards. Matt is a very talented child who is artistic, writes music, sings and plays multiple musical instruments. He has a dedication to succeed in anything he sets his mind to. An example of this is his ability to solve a Rubiks cube in 13 seconds. Mathew previously went by the name Tara as is stated in the 'Plants help us grow' book, but currently goes by the name Matt as per his wishes. Acceptance of this has inspired him to excel creatively and he is very happy.
