She is an experienced researcher, mentor and university lecturer and has in-depth knowledge in the field of cultivation of plant cell and tissue cultures and microalgae. Together with young scientists in her group, she conducts research on the development of efficient processes for the production of active substances from plant in vitro cultures and algae. In 2017, she habilitated on this topic and obtained the authorisation to teach in the field of bioprocess engineering.
