July 2019--Garden Trade Specialist Magazine Perfect for preschool and primary school children with help from grown-ups. It's a guide to gardening through the seasons... My 6-year-old loves this book and we have used it to get us started gardening this year. May 2019--https: //theladybirdsadventures.co.uk Website/Blog This beautiful book was reviewed by my neighbour and their daughters Betsy and Martha (aged seven and nine). It prompted rewarding creative sessions, thanks to easy-to-read instructions and the fact that little more was needed than the contents of the recycling bin and bits and bobs from the garden. The gentle green messages prompted big discussions from little activities. Stand-out successes: clay-based wildflower seed bombs and the successful growing (and eating) of sweetcorn. Thumbs-up from everyone. Helen Yemm--Helen Yemm The Sunday Telegraph Author InformationEsther Coombs is a professional illustrator living and working in rural Kent, UK. The inspiration for Plant, Sow, Make & Grow came from the gardening club at her daughter's school (founded by Esther) and a charming series of newsletters/zines, which she produces and illustrates herself in the same informative and approachable style as this book. Previously, Esther illustrated New York Activity Book and London Activity Book (both published by Button Books).
