Dr. Mamta Bisht is presently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry, School of Applied and Life Sciences, Uttaranchal University (NAAC A+), Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. She has been actively involved in the extraction, isolation, and characterization of “natural products” obtained from the medicinal and aromatic plants with bioactivity for the last 8 years. Besides this, her analytical skills are in GC, GC-MS, HPLC, Prep-HPLC, and HPTLC. Furthermore, she is equally involved in the promotion of endangered and economically important species from the youngest Himalayan region. She has published more than 20 papers in peer-reviewed international journals and seven book chapters. Further, she has participated in more than 10 conferences, including national and international ones. She is a lifetime member of the Indian Science Congress Association. Under her guidance, many PG and UG students successfully completed their project thesis, and some PhD students are currently working with her Prof (Dr.) Ajay Singh is currently working as Director SALS and Dean Research & Studies in Uttaranchal University, Dehradun, India.
