Planning legislation is dealt with in the main chapters, while further chapters use relevant case law to amplify the sometimes complex statutory material. In addition, the book outlines other areas of land law such as European legislation, non-planning controls and public investment.

Author Information

As a University Senior Lecturer, the author has taught planning law in England and Malaysia to both postgraduate and undergraduate students in a variety of disciplines which require an understanding of the planning system. He is also involved in private practice as a planning and landscape consultant and has drawn heavily on his own experiences to provide a text that is up to date, practical and easily understood.
