OverviewLinks between community planning and airport planning are necessary and often overlooked. If an airport is to be fully useful and effective, it must be carefully and regularly considered in the community planning process; conversely, airport planning must understand and consider the needs and concerns of the communities that surround, abut, and make use of the airport.
