Overview

Planet Thirteen, the last planet in their galaxy, was the relocation site for all Beta Planet citizens who refused to sign The Beta Planetary Government Pledge of Compliance (BPGPC) within six calendar months. Modern Society on Beta exploited its natural resources and those of the next ten planets until the Universal Alliance Government was left with Planet Thirteen. Adiu's orthodox homesteader ancestors chose to leave Beta and start again underground on Planet Thirteen, call Planet Nu in City Speak. Jotre's homesteader ancestors also chose to leave Beta, but his father left his parents' underground homestead to live in Modern Society's upper class in the above-ground domed city of Lebanon.
