Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationJohn Grady, JD, PhD, is currently an associate professor in the Department of Sport and Entertainment Management at the University of South Carolina. He teaches graduate courses in Sport Law and Risk and Security Management, and undergraduate courses in Sport and Entertainment Programming and Risk Management in Sport. Dr. Grady's research interests focus primarily on the legal aspects of the business of sport, including implementation of the Americans with Disabilities Act by the sport industry as well as intellectual property protection in sport, specifically right of publicity and ambush marketing. Dr. Grady received his bachelor's degree in Management with Honors in Finance from Penn State University. He received his JD and PhD from Florida State University. His research has been published in outlets including the Journal of Legal Aspects of Sport, the Journal of Sport Management, Sport Marketing Quarterly, and the Marquette Sports Law Review. He is co-editor of the Sport Marketing and the Law column in Sport Marketing Quarterly. He also serves on the editorial review board for the Journal of Legal Aspects of Sport and is associate editor of the Journal of Venue and Event Management. He was the recipient of the Sport and Recreation Law Association Young Professional Award and has also received awards for excellence in teaching, research, and undergraduate advising at the University of South Carolina.
