Priscilla Doremus was born in Oakdale, California, and grew up in Texas as the daughter of a pastor. She decided to follow Jesus at the age of five, and He has been her very best friend, joy, and source of strength in every situation since that time. She earned a bachelor's degree from Baylor University and a master's degree from Texas A&M (Victoria), and she holds a doctorate from Liberty University. Priscilla has enjoyed writing from a very early age and published her first short story at the encouragement of her mother, Jacqueline Nimmons, and with the assistance of her grandmother, Myrtle Cliburn. She currently resides in Sugar Land, Texas.
