Overview

A young soul begs God to give her the opportunity to fulfill her purpose. She promises to stay in constant contact through prayer. Abandoned at birth, Pippi Jean Lisle never seemed to be discouraged. She grows up in the deep South as a ward of the court and develops strength that pushes her through medical school and graduates at the head of her class. The acceptance at Phoenix Whole Life Healing Center seems to be the final step in her plan to fulfill her God-given purpose. When a new patient, Ava Granatelli, enrolls in Whole's program, Pippi is faced with new challenges. Ava's tenacity matches Pippi's as she pried into areas of Pippi's life with unending curiosity. This vulnerability exposes emotions that Pippi always kept close to her heart. During the struggle to keep her guard up while searching for healing solutions, they develop a friendship that many would say could last a lifetime. Throughout this journey, Pippi stays committed to prayer and sees God, answering prayers along the way. He even teaches her that medical science has not captured all His ways of healing. There is one prayer, however, that Pippi longs to have answered and finally confronts God on why He never responded. His answer leaves Pippi in awe of how God works all things together for good even in the worst circumstances.
