In a vibrant garden where day and night keep them apart, an unlikely friendship blossoms between Pip, a gentle, nocturnal fruit bat, and Humm, a dazzlingly fast, diurnal hummingbird. Their worlds only overlap for a few moments at twilight and dawn. The garden's greatest treasure is the Midnight Bloom, a magnificent flower that only opens its pearlescent petals for the moon, a sight Humm desperately wishes she could see. Determined to help his new friend, Pip makes three heartfelt attempts to share the night's magic. First, when Humm tries to stay awake, she becomes frightened by the dark shadows.
