OverviewThe book is a collection of writings of early English speaking pioneers and explorers in North America. Articles were taken from old books or internet copies of old books. When possible articles were reproduced from facsimile copies of the original printings. They are presented in chronological order, oldest first. The oldest being originally published in 1588, the newest in 1885. The authors wrote the articles in English. With the exception of Audubon, all were native born English speakers.
