Willie was born on July 23rd, 1952, in Laurinburg, North Carolina to John and Lucy Johnson. He is the eighth of a closely knitted family of fifteen children. After graduating from high school in 1970, he relocated to the state of Connecticut to follow his dreams. But those dreams were put on hold and almost shattered after he found himself struggling with drugs while living the night lifestyle. After two and a half years of a life spiraling downhill, Jesus saved him and turned his life completely around. In the year of 1972, he gave his life to the Lord, and since then he has traveled this Nation and other parts of the world spreading the good news of Jesus Christ. Through the years, he has served as Pastor of three churches; he is a song composer/writer, and an author. He presently serves as the Founder of King's Foundations Ministries, an outreach ministry in Orlando, Florida. He is thankful for the privilege of serving the Lord.
