Overview

An in depth look at Japanese sex culture, from the hostess clubs and red light districts to the subterranean subcultures that little is known about. Intimate photographs showcase workers from all areas of the sex industry, from porn stars to erotic manga artists. The images also reflect on the most colourful and hedonistic non-commercial sex communities. This is a lavishly visual guide to the Japanese underground cultures; with descriptions of trends, neighbourhoods, industries and a plethora of eye-opening interviews with some of the most prominent people on the scene.
