Warner is a retired veterinarian who spent 53 years in various aspects of the profession. He was in private practice before entering the U.S. Air Force. Many aspects of his career were public practice (epidemiology, public health, and academia). Most recently, he was a member of the core group that brought the Texas Tech University School of Veterinary Medicine to fruition. Dr. Warner lives in Shallowater, Texas.
