He is a worldwide active expert in the area of applied animal nutrition. Since 2008, he owns the consulting firm Ariston Nutrition. He consults with major pig, poultry, dairy, feed, and additives producers in Americas, Europe, and Asia. He is often consulted by major firms about the global feed and additives market, and he is frequently invited as an external reviewer for scientific, business, technical, and marketing projects. Dr. Mavromichalis has been a prolific author since 1988. He writes monthly articles for many technical magazines and maintains a weekly blog where he expresses his opinions on timely issues.
