Lori Ann Stephens is an award-winning author. This is her first novel for middle-grade readers. Before she became a university professor, she taught children in every grade between first and eleventh grades. That's a lot of grades. Lori Ann likes dark chocolate, cats on Youtube, and everything French. She lives in Texas with her family.
