Connor Hoover made a special trip to Dinosaur Valley State Park in the ranchlands of Texas to research this book. On the way back, she had some amazing barbeque-or was it dinosaur meat? Connor lives in Austin, Texas with two dinosaurs (giant tortoises), two dogs who bark at the dinosaurs, and a permanent adventure partner. Connor Hoover is a pseudonym for award-winning author P. J. Hoover.P. J. (Tricia) Hoover (aka Connor Hoover) wanted to be a Jedi, but when that didn't work out, she became an electrical engineer instead.
