EDWARD QUINN (1920 - 1997) lived and worked as a press photographer on the Côte d'Azur; a stomping ground for celebrities from showbiz, art and business in the Golden Fifties. His friendship with Picasso lasted until the artist's death. From the 1960s, Quinn focussed on the portrayal of artists and photographed personalities such as Max Ernst, Alexander Calder, Francis Bacon, Salvador Dali, Graham Sutherland, David Hockney and Georg Baselitz.
