Piano Please: Seven Adorable Piano Tunes for Youngsters Volume 5 is a collection of short piano solos for students who have been learning piano for one to two years. It is especially valuable for those who are studying towards Preliminary, Grade 1, and Grade 2 piano exams. Volume 5 features seven short solos, all around eight bars in length. It includes rhythmic exercises, detailing how to count and work out rhythms, which is relevant to the development of sight-reading skills. It also instructs students to sing melodies, providing them with the experience of doing so, before being required to in an exam. And finally, it gives students the experience of playing in different keys, as opposed to the usual C and G major, through the use of scale diagrams, accidental symbols, and coloured notation.
