Overview

Ziel war es, die physikalisch-chemischen Eigenschaften des Honigs der im Bundesstaat Maranh�o beheimateten Ti�ba-Biene - Melipona compressipes fasciculata - zu bewerten. Zwei Proben wurden im September und Dezember 2006 in der Ortschaft Cachoeira in der Gemeinde Viana, im Tiefland von Maranh�o, gesammelt. Es wurden quantitative Analysen durchgef�hrt: Brix-Wert, Feuchtigkeit, S�uregehalt, Asche, reduzierende Zucker, nicht-reduzierende Zucker, Gesamtzucker, pH-Wert, Farbe und wasserunl�sliche Feststoffe, sowie qualitative Analysen: Verf�lschungen (Lund, Fiehe und Lugol) und Diastase-Aktivit�t.
