Table of ContentsReviewsWho would have thought that someone could produce not just one fabulous Photography book but bring out a second with even more powerful educational material. From the beginner to the pro, everyone will find insightful, knowledgeable, and educational material presented in what has become the David McKay style of clear, concise instruction on methods and equipment that make the stunning images that he produces, come to life in your camera. This is another Number One. - Don T After reading David's first book and using his simple explanations to improve my photography, I was so excited to see this book about using lighting! I have often struggled with using light in photography, and as in his first book, the instructions are detailed and clear and have beautiful photographic examples. While I don't have a DSLR yet, this book works for a variety of photography from any camera. I have used many of his techniques for my point and shoot camera and often people can't believe the photos I get from it. I am convinced that beautiful photos CAN be made with technique, and don't require expensive cameras and equipment for the average shooter. David's books and his easy to understand instructions have made me a better photographer! Thank you! - Kim Another great instructional book by David McKay. As a true beginner, I appreciate the simple approach! I gained from this book things I have not from others. - Janay This book by David McKay is very user friendly. It's an amazing guide to have for any photographer. I've taken very expensive classes to learn this type of information and to have it all in writing is so handy and priceless. He talks about gear...having plenty of formatted memory cards, have your camera settings ready, batteries all charged, tripod, etc. Dave also talks about lighting...sunrise & sunset(I loved the advice of look at what the light is doing-not just the actual sun), reflections, movement of water, fireworks, street photography, portraits and more. He gives incredible photography tips on how to get that gorgeous blue sky at night time after a sunset. David is so inspiring. He gives several examples of his own beautiful work from all over the country. The way I learn is actually doing the work so this book is perfect because after each subject, there is Take Actions where Dave gives you everything you would need to actually go practice what you were just taught. This is an incredible book that can take you to the next level. - Smokey Author InformationTab Content 6Author Website:Countries AvailableAll regions |
