The Philosophy of Love and Sex: From Desire to Devotion is a dynamic anthology that provides the reader with the necessary tools and challenges to form a sophisticated philosophy of their own. This anthology explores the interactions love and sexuality has with imagination, sexual fantasy, spiritual practices, awareness of mortality, ethics and social norms. It addresses a variety of concerns and preoccupations, from the nature of love to the current vampire craze, encouraging the reader to be both critical and open minded. Marshall Osman is a professor of philosophy at the University of La Verne and at Cal Poly Pomona. He received his Ph.D. from the Claremont Graduate University. Andrew Bridges is a graduate of Claremont School of Theology (MA) and received his BA in philosophy from Cal Poly Pomona.
