Overview

The church at Philippi was started, during the Apostle Paul's third missionary journey, around 50 or 51 AD. They were definitely not a perfect church but one that was close to his heart. The Apostle Paul had started it with some of his friends, so he cared deeply about them. The letter itself is known as one of the Prison Epistles. Yet, even under these circumstances he remained joyful and content. Giving us today thousands of years later a blueprint for the right living. Samuel was raised in a Christian home and accepted the Lord at a young age. After sensing God's leading from a bible tract and was baptized. While attending a Youth Conference answered an altar call to be used by God in a greater way and serve him. Samuel felt God's calling to ministry and answered. He has served in several capacities in the local church as Worship Leader, Adult Discipleship, Teen Ministry, & Administration. He is an Alumnus of the Moody Bible Institute and loves teaching and serving God by advancing the message of Christ.
