It's those recipients who encouraged Philip to publish his stories, which are now known as ""Philables."" He gains inspiration from sermons, daily interactions, comments, and current events. However, he is sure to avoid politics and cultural concerns, instead focusing on lessons of contemplation and bringing scripture into daily life. Author Information

Dr. Philip Lehman, a retired veterinarian and USAF fighter pilot, was born and raised in Hillsdale, Michigan, where he graduated from Spring Arbor College right before he entered USAF pilot training. With the air force, he flew in Korea, Vietnam, and Alaska before he continued his education at the College of Veterinary Medicine at Michigan State University. For years, he flew with the Ohio National Guard and worked as an emergency medicine veterinarian in Toledo, Ohio. Outside of his career, Philip has several hobbies, such as sports, woodworking, travel, nature, and music. His short stories draw from his various interests and life events that emphasize biblical lessons and provide moments of worship. Currently, he has two grown children and lives with his wife, Kathy, in Prescott, Arizona.
