Pharaoh Hatshepsut: Moses' Other Mother

Overview

Pharaoh Hatshepsut is the story of a young Egyptian princess who found a Hebrew baby in a basket on the Nile. She claims Moses as her own and hides him in the palace harem. Only her maids and her faithful architect Senenmut know of their true bond. While raising Moses in secret, Hatshepsut struggles to fit into a world ruled by the gods and their priests. Her greatest hope is to bring Moses into the line of succession. When her husband dies, she becomes a powerful female pharaoh and Senenmut her advisor and protector. Senenmut loves and admires Hatshepsut, but she must focus on her reign above all else, and prepare a pathway to leadership for Moses. Will she succeed in establishing a legacy for her adopted son, despite their enemies?
