Author Information

"A fifth generation Mainer, Albert Hagerthy grew up building truck models and has spent four decades delivering dairy, meat and produce throughout New England. Despise is not too strong a word to describe Hagerthy's feelings about new technology in trucks used to haul our food and basic necessities around the planet. Hagerthy wanted to be a Marine but couldn't for medical reasons, but like a Marine he has a motto of, ""Never give in. Never give up."" With eight years in the construction industry, he taught himself to operate and repair construction equipment, and now finds pleasure in continuous home renovation. Hagerthy is married with two children and lives in Woolwich, Maine."
