Nadia Bourboulas is a Greek-Australian first-time children's book author based in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. The daughter of parents, whose parents were first generation Greek migrants, she visits Greece regularly to maintain her connection to her culture and extended family. Most recently, Nadia and her family travelled there for three months, spending time drinking Greek coffee and eating too much lamb souvlaki in Amorgos, Arahova, Athens, Chios, Crete, Hydra, Limnos, Meteora, Naxos, Paros, Piraeus and Syros.Nadia advocates parents encouraging their children to maintain a connection to their family's country of origin and cultural heritage. She is a qualified Speech and Drama Teacher and Corporate Communications Professional by trade. Cheri Hughes is an illustrator and visual storyteller whose artistic voice has been evident since childhood. From an early age, imagery became her most natural language, shaping a style known for its emotion, playfulness, and sense of wonder. Cheri brings characters to life with charm and heart, inviting readers into imaginative worlds they won't want to leave. Influenced by a multicultural upbringing and a lifetime of global experiences, Cheri draws inspiration from the diverse people and places she has encountered. These elements weave through her illustrations, enriching her work with depth and vibrant perspective.
