Petals of Paper is a poetry collection inspired by the eight types of love described by the ancient Greeks, offering an intimate and honest exploration of human connection in its many forms. Each section of this collection reflects a different expression or experience of love - whether it is romantic, platonic, or self-reflective - capturing the ways that love can impact and transform us and those around us. Petals of Paper challenges us to consider how love is a universal experience but yet an innately personal and individual journey. Petals of Paper leads us into the hearts and minds of young lovers, long-time friends, parents, siblings, and bitter enemies while still emphasizing the paramount importance of love we show ourself. Through this collection, it is encouraged that you take a moment to reflect on those whom you love in your life. This collection features original, untitled photography by the author as a way to guide the reader through interpreting what they see (and read) for themselves.
