OverviewPerspectives of a Black Boy is a stirring, genre-defying collection of poems and reflections that trace the journey of a Black boy reclaiming his name, his history, and his voice. Spanning themes of identity, heritage, love, migration, memory, and spiritual reckoning, this book speaks to the heart of the African and diasporic experience. Each poem pulses with emotion, while the accompanying prose offers powerful context, turning each page into both a mirror and a map. Bold, lyrical, and unflinchingly honest, this book is for anyone seeking truth, healing, and the courage to rise.
