Author Information

Floriana Popescu is Professor of English Language and Applied Linguistics at ""Dunǎrea de Jos"" University of Galaţi, România. She has authored four books and over fifty studies and articles in comparative lexicology and translation studies. She has edited one conference proceedings volume (Translation Studies: Retrospective and Prospective Views, Europlus, 2006). Since 2006 she has also been the editor-in-chief of the Fascicle XIII. Language and Literature, in the series of the ""Dunǎrea de Jos"" University of Galaţi Annals.
