Lazdowski's research interest is in accounting and business history. She is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at the University of New Hampshire in Manchester, as well as a CPA, CMA, CFM and CFE. Dr. Lazdowski's doctoral dissertation focused on the accounting history of the Ford Motor Company using archival data located at the Benson Ford Research Center in Dearborn, Michigan. From that research, she presented original data at the World of the Model T Conference in 2008. In 2013, she was presented with the Alfred R. Roberts Memorial Research Award.
