Author Information

Stephen Nolan completed his BA (Hons) in Japanese, Linguistics and Asian History from the University of Sydney, Australia [1995] and went on to pursue a MA [1998], and a Ph.D [2001] from the International Christian University, Tokyo, Japan. He had vast teaching and research experiences. For the past seven years he collaborated with a Burmese linguist to revise a Burmese dictionary, and had too begun work in refugee liaison and resettlement for various Burmese peoples in Tasmania.
