""PERIOD POOH"" was birthed to bring back the love of ""The Village"" referring to the saying ""It Takes A Village To Raise A Child"". This book is for the single, married mothers and fathers, custodial guardians, family members, teachers, mentors, siblings and friends who may have a hard time giving guidance to situations regarding the menstrual process regarding our girls. To my brothers and sisters, if you find yourself in this situation and don't know how to approach it, give this book as a gift to the young lady in your life to help her get through this. Pay it forward and pass it down. This is much needed for our girls. Parenting doesn't come with a handbook; therefore, we have others to help us and even when we don't have them physically around us, we have them spiritually. We also have books like this to utilize as a guide to assist in situations where there is a need in our lives. I find myself caring about our little girls, the ones with and without a voice. The ones that feel alone, destitute, lost, hopeless, body shamed, judged, laughed at, motherless, and fatherless. I have adopted them all as my nieces. I pray that you read this book, laugh, smile, take the advice, take notes and do the work. That you follow the path to creating a positive experience throughout your menstrual time while also being a mentor to another young lady who may need you... your cousins....
