Overview

Renowned pianist Fliss, adored by fans worldwide who regard her as one of the foremost musicians of the 21st century, suffers amnesia after a traumatic road accident involving a young boy. Hampering her recovery is a bully of a man, convinced she was a drunk driver who almost killed his son. He threatens dire consequences and Fliss, alone and with no memory, is vulnerable and damaged. Out of the confusion and pain evolves a friendship with the boy that is remarkable and eventually becomes miraculous.

Sue McGregor is a keen onomast, bibliophile, numismatist, philatelist and writer. She worked for the BBC at Caversham and then lived in a converted cave in Spain with her husband, Peter, until she realised she loved England and the awful English weather more. Sue's first love is writing poetry, her second is writing books (fiction and non-fiction), and her third is star-gazing and listening to beautiful music.
