Anna Whibbs Theriault lives in Pensacola with her husband, two boys, and a large (boisterous) extended family. Anna wrote her first book, Goodnight Pensacola, after the birth of her oldest son to foster a love for the beautiful city that she calls home. Anna's background as a licensed mental health counselor sparked her desire to write a second book, P is for Pelican: The ABCs of Pensacola, which is currently used as a component of an early learning initiative to improve childhood literacy in Pensacola. Anna combines her love for reading and working with kids through book readings and presentations at the many schools in the Pensacola area.
