OverviewPenny Wise is ten. She wants to know what 'money' is really about and why grown-ups make such a fuss about it. So she decides to find out more and keeps a journal of her discoveries... The Penny Wise books develop pupils' interest and awareness of personal finance issues through Penny's eyes as she writes about, and illustrates, her own experiences of money, its effect on her and her family, and her attempts to make sense of it. The books make financial understanding fun through entertaining stories and practical activities that encourage pupils to talk about the issues raised in class and at home.
