Jason was a firefighter with the Lethbridge Fire Department in Lethbridge, AB and Penny was his Beagle and best friend. Jason lost his life tragically in 2017 and this story was written to remember what we loved about him the most. Jason had a huge heart, selfless compassion and a contagious laugh. He wanted to be a firefighter out of a deep desire to help others and had to work twice as hard as everyone else to get there. He is still deeply loved and missed by all of his family and brothers and sisters in uniform. Chris Cochand lives on a farm in Bradner, BC with his beautiful bride and four young children along with a menagerie of horses, chickens, ducks, bees and a goat named Pearl.
