Native of the Pacific Northwest, but also has resided in Arizona since 2021 with her husband Peter, sons Thomas and Jesse, and family dog Winnie. DeDe is a top producing real estate agent in both Arizona and Washington. She has worked in social services and in children's ministries at her local church. DeDe enjoys hiking new trails and walking in her neighborhoods, cooking delicious meals and baking desserts, and traveling to new and exciting places like China, Israel, Mexico, Jamaica, St. Martin, etc. Writing children's books has been a passion of hers for a while. This adventure has been fun and fulfilling as she and Sam partnered together to create literature for young people. Samantha is a self taught artist who has been drawing since she was a young child. Her favorite mediums are colored pencil and watercolor. She loves teaching children art and crafts. She primarily focuses on animals and nature. She spends her days homeschooling her children, taking care of her pets and exploring. She spends her evening drawing and painting, reading good books, writing and playing Mario cart with her husband. She has always had a passion for beautiful children's books and a dream to create them. She is very excited to finally start her dream of illustrating.
