OverviewThe genus Ctenomys Blainville, 1826 consists of fossorial rodents with a complex systematics. Although molecular and morphological studies on the genus already exist, it is still difficult to identify and classify these individuals, which have a high karyotypic diversity. This study is based on the external morphology of the glans penis and baculum of Ctenomys minutus, Ctenomys flamarioni, and Ctenomys torquatus, with the aim of identifying possible variations that could provide important data for a better understanding of the systematics, evolution, and taxonomy of the genus.
