OverviewIntroduction I was fascinated when I learned Pele was only 5 feet 8 inches tall and accomplish so many Records in Soccer. In 1961, Brazil PresidentJanio Quadroshad Pele declared a National Treasure. During his Career, he became known as The Black Pearl (A Perola Negra).
