Campeón de la Serie Mundial, miembro del Salón de la Fama, invitado ocho veces al Juego de las Estrellas y ganador del Premio Cy Young en tres ocasiones.   Michael Silverman es columnista del Boston Herald y ha cubierto béisbol y a los Red Sox desde 1995. Es egresado de la Universidad de Michigan y de Periodismo de la Universidad de Columbia.
