Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationSusan Parnell Scholtz, PhD, RN, is Associate Professor, St. Luke's School of Nursing, Moravian College, Bethlehem, PA. She is certified as an ELNEC-Pediatric Palliative Care Trainer, as a School Nurse by the State of PA Department of Education, and as a Faculty Train the Trainer through AACN. Dr. Scholtz has received numerous awards for her teaching and service, has presented locally and nationally, has published chapters in several well-known undergraduate textbooks (e.g. D'Amico's Health Assessment), and has served as a peer-reviewer for multiple publishing companies, including Elsevier, FADavis, and Prentice-Hall. In addition, Dr. Scholtz is a 'volunteer' school nurse at Nazareth Area School District (PA), USA. Vicki A. Martin, MSN, RN , is an instructor at Francis Marian University, USA and teaches Health Assessment for BSN students and paediatrics for pre-licensure students in the classroom, clinical, online, and nursing lab/simulation settings. Ms. Martin's clinical and teaching experience spans 22 years, and includes home health case manager/team leader, clinical nurse liaison, community health nursing supervisor, and case manager coordinating care of children with special needs and chronic illness. Mrs. Martin is currently a doctoral student. Fran Cornelius, PhD, MSN, RN-BC, CNE, is Associate Clinical Professor, Chair of the MSN Advanced Practice Role Department, and Coordinator of Informatics Projects, Drexel University, College of Nursing and Health Professions, USA. In 2003, she was a Fellow at the Biomedical Library of Medicine. Dr. Cornelius is a certified nurse informaticist and has been the recipient of several grants. As Coordinator of Informatics Projects, she has collaborated on the development of mobile applications including the Patient Assessment and Care Plan Development (PACPD) tool-a PDA tool with a Web based companion-and Gerontology Reasoning Informatics Programs (the GRIP project). She is the co-Editor of Cornelius/Gallagher-Gordon, PDA Connections, an innovative textbook designed to teach health care professionals how to use mobile devices for 'point-of-care' access of information. She has written six book chapters and has published 19 journal articles on her work. Dr. Cornelius has been invited to delivered 26 presentations and has delivered over 50 peer-reviewed presentations in the U.S. and internationally.
