Overview

Dermoscopy is a non-invasive, widely used diagnostic tool that aids the diagnosis of skin lesions and is proven to increase the accuracy of melanoma diagnosis. Trichoscopy is the dermoscopic imaging of the scalp and hair. The method is based on dermoscopy and videodermoscopy and is used for the evaluation and diagnosis of hair and scalp diseases. Onychoscopy is the dermoscopic imaging of the nail used for the diagnosis of nail disorders.
